Warranty Information
All items purchased from Online Mobile Parts come with a 2-year Australian warranty covering manufacturing defects. This warranty applies to the purchased part only. It does not extend to the device it’s installed in or to any associated labour or repair costs.
- This warranty covers manufacturing faults only.
- It does not cover general wear and tear, user damage during installation, or accidental damage.
- Examples of accidental damage include water damage, drops, knocks, flex cable tears, or screen cracks.
- For replacement screens, removal or tampering with the QR code sticker will void your warranty.
- All warranty returns are inspected and tested before approval.
If your warranty claim is approved, we’ll provide either a replacement or refund - whichever is most appropriate for the situation.
All refund payments are returned to the original method of payment, in line with ACCC guidelines.
Troubleshooting Before Claiming
Most issues can be resolved quickly with the steps below. Please follow these before lodging a warranty claim:
- Ensure your device is running the latest iOS/Android version.
- Power off the device.
- Disconnect the battery.
- Disconnect the replacement part.
- Inspect for any visible damage to the part, flex cable, or connection point.
- Clean the part’s connector and the device’s socket gently.
- Reconnect the part, ensuring the connection is firmly seated.
- Reconnect the battery.
- Power on the device and retest.
How to Lodge a Warranty Claim
- Complete the troubleshooting steps above first.
- Record a short video clearly showing the issue.
- Email us at sales@onlinemobileparts.com.au with:
- Your order number.
- A brief summary of the issue.
- Your video of the issue.
- For replacement screens, include a clear photo of the QR code sticker on the back. When returned, this must be intact and clearly visible.
- If approved, we’ll email you a prepaid return label.
- Please ensure your item is securely packed (ideally in its original factory packaging) to prevent damage during transit. Damage incurred during return shipping will void your warranty.
- Once we receive your return and verify the fault, we’ll express post a replacement or issue a refund. Refunds are typically processed within 1 business day after your return is received and inspected. You will be notified by email once your refund has been issued.
If a warranty claim is denied, the inspected item will not be returned unless you request it and cover return postage.
